Spring Exterior Maintenance Checklist

Northeast Ohio winters are hard on homes. Ice, snow, freeze-thaw cycles, and salt all take a toll on your exterior. As temperatures rise, it's time to assess the damage and get ahead of the season.

Your Spring Checklist

• Gutters: Clear winter debris, check for ice damage, ensure downspouts are draining away from foundation
• Siding: Inspect for cracks, loose panels, or mold/mildew growth from winter moisture
• Windows: Check seals, clean exterior glass, look for condensation between panes
• Driveway & Walkways: Inspect for cracks from freeze-thaw, schedule power washing to remove salt stains
• Foundation: Walk the perimeter and look for new cracks, settling, or water pooling
• Trim & Fascia: Check for rot, peeling paint, or damage from ice
• Landscaping: Ensure grading still directs water away from the house
